About This Project
Our latest project took us to a spacious holiday let in Salisbury, where the customer required an enhanced hot water system to meet the demands of their 9-bedroom property. This large country home hosts many guests, making the availability of ample hot water essential for a comfortable experience. The existing system struggled to cope during peak usage times, so we were called in to provide a long-term solution.
To tackle this, we installed a new hot water cylinder in the basement, complemented by an accumulated mains water storage cylinder. This combination significantly improved the system’s capacity, delivering an additional 600 litres of usable hot water. With this upgrade, the property now boasts a high-performance hot water system capable of supporting numerous bathrooms and fixtures at once. The project also involved setting up the necessary pipework and fittings to ensure seamless integration with the existing plumbing, optimising both water flow and heating efficiency.
Our installation was completed on time and with minimal disruption, allowing the holiday let to continue its operations without interruption. The new hot water system now meets the increased demand with ease, ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable, uninterrupted supply of hot water.
What is a Hot Water Cylinder?

It heats water either through an immersion heater or by connecting to a boiler, storing this heated water until it’s needed.
